14er Fitness provides comprehensive training programs for mountain climbing, hiking, and trekking. Our training programs consist of guided training climbs in the Colorado Rockies and Customized Fitness Programs. By training in Colorado’s high altitude environment, clients are able build up their cardio-vascular endurance, strength, and overall confidence on long duration treks and climbs. Whether it is Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, or Everest Base Camp - 14er Fitness Training Climbs can help you achieve your mountain climbing goals. Training Climbs The best way to train for mountain climbing is to go mountain climbing. The Colorado Rocky Mountains form a spectacular roof, capping the western United States. With 54 peaks over 14,000-feet, and over 1500 others that extend above timberline, Colorado is one of the best mountain climbing training grounds in the world.
1 Day Training Program The one day training climb is designed to get you hike altitude exposure and training in a short amount of time. 14er Fitness uses experienced guides and fitness specialists to ensure clients are adequately prepared for their next outdoor adventure. . This program includes travel to and from the mountains and an attempt of one of Colorado's 14,000 ft. mountains. Peak selection is based on time of year, group size, and fitness levels. 3 Day Training program The 3 Day Training Climb is a more extensive program designed to prepare individuals for the physical demands of long duration hikes and high altitude climbs. This program includes an acclimation hike, an attempt of one of Colorado's 14,000 foot mountains and a fitness analysis at completion. 14er Fitness uses experienced guides and fitness specialists to ensure clients are adequately prepared for their next outdoor adventure. Peak selection will be based on time of year, group size, and fitness level.
