3-Day Safari - Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater National Park and Tarangire National Park

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Arusha for 3-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park.  You will have a game drive which includes picnic lunch.  Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro National Park
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater.  You'll have a brief stop at the view point for a breathtaking look 2,000 feet down into the crater below. We then descend down the crater to begin the game drive.  A picnic lunch will be provided.  Dinner and overnight at the Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater National Park – Tarangire National Park
Early breakfast, then depart for Tarangire National Park followed by a short game drive in Tarangire. Afterwards, we drive to the lodge for a hot lunch. Then we drive to Arusha Outpost Lodge for dinner and overnight.

2011 Fees - 3-Day Safari

4-day Safari - Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro National Park and Serengeti National Park

Day 1: Arusha flight into Serengeti National Park
Depart Arusha in a.m. (from Impala Hotel) for Kilimanjaro airport and flight to Serengeti. An afternoon game drive with overnight and dinner at Serengeti lodge.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater National Park
Early morning game drive in Serengeti. Depart for long dusty ride (4-5 hours) to Ngorongoro Crater, lunch in route. Overnight and dinner at lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
Early morning game drive in Crater. Late morning breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara. Overnight and dinner at Lake Manyara Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
Late morning departure from Lake Manyara to Arusha arriving early afternoon at Impala for day room use...shower and packing. Evening flight home.

2011 Fees - 4-Day Safari Itinerary (price includes airfare)

6-Day Safari - Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro National Park

Day 1: Arusha
Pick up from Kilimanjaro (JRO) airport or hotel and transfer to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at the Impala Hotel.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, 3-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive until noon.  Lunch will be at Lake Manyara Hotel. Afternoon game drive, then dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Depart Lake Manyara after breakfast.  Drive to Serengeti National Park will include picnic lunch.  Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro National Park
After breakfast and morning game drive, depart for Ngorongoro Crater. We will stop at Olduvai Gorge and a Maasai village en route to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater National Park - Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend a breathtaking 2,000 feet into the crater for game viewing and a crater tour with picnic lunch.  Late afternoon drive to Arusha.  Dinner and overnight at Impala Hotel.

Day 6: Arusha - Airport
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of town. Lunch will be served at Impala Hotel.  Late afternoon transfer to JRO to catch your flight.

14-Day Safari

Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater National Park, Serengeti National Park and Karatu

Day 1-2: Arusha
You will arrive at Kilimanjaro or Nairobi International Airport where you'll be met and transferred by our representative to a first-class hotel in Arusha. You'll overnight at The Ngurdoto Mt. Lodge.

Day 3-4: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After a welcome breakfast and briefing by your guide, we transfer to Tarangire National Park – the Jurassic Park of Africa – where we'll have a game drive in the afternoon, and two the following day. Here you'll see the magnificent Baobab trees, so famous in this part of the world, and view hundreds of elephants, impala and who knows what else. Your will overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park
Today we'll slowly game drive out of Tarangire and transfer to Lake Manyara enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. You'll see the jungle where the old Tarzan movies were filmed, enjoy the antics of the baboons, see birdlife you've never encountered before and wonder in awe at the great soda lake that is Manyara. If lucky, we'll also see the tree-climbing lion which are so famous in this park. Overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel or Kirurumo Tented Lodge.

Day 6: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater National Park
After breakfast we game drive our way through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Crater. After lunch at our lodge, we take our first drive down 2,000 feet into the crater, enjoying an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater National Park
We descend into the crater for the entire day, sharing our picnic lunch with the kites! The crater is home to the almost extinct black rhino and four prides of lion. We hope to see them all today, as well as flamingo, stork, hippos, Cape buffalo, wildebeast, zebra and possibly a “retired” elephant or two. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater National Park - Olduvai Gorge - Serengeti National Park
Today on your African Wildlife Safari, we make our way from the crater to the magnificent Serengeti, stopping along our route to visit a Maasai Village and the Olduvai Gorge – birthplace of man. You'll be able to tour the Olduvai Museum and hear a lecture about the findings of the Leakey’s. We arrive at the beautiful Serengeti in time for a late lunch at our lodge. The afternoon will be spent on a game drive, or if you prefer, relax around the swimming pool overlooking the Serengeti plain. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 9-11: Serengeti National Park
Here we'll be able to have two game drives daily. One early morning, returning to our lodge in time for lunch and relaxation before our late afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is large and there is much to see during our stay – from the hippo pools to the kopjes where the big cats often sleep, to tracking the always elusive leopard seen hanging out in trees. Due to changes in season, we may decide to split our overnights between two different lodges, spending two nights in each. Sopa Lodge will be provided.

Day 12: Serengeti National Park - Karatu
Today we depart the Serengeti, backtracking as far as Karatu where we overnight. The area is known for amazing birdlife – there are over 167 varieties in the immediate area. Here you'll also find gourmet food and the chance to hike and stretch your legs. Depending on our overnight destination, you'll also be able to take walking tours to waterfalls, gardens and a quaint village to shop. Overnight at Plantation lodge.

Day 13: Karatu to Arusha
After breakfast, we travel back to Arusha, carrying a picnic lunch to enjoy along the way. We'll have time to stop in Arusha for last minute shopping before continuing on to our lodge near Arusha National Park. Overnight at Ngurdoto Mt.Lodge.

Day 14: Arusha
Today you can relax, hike with a provided guide and/or prepare for your overnight flight home. Those departing from Nairobi will be transferred back in the early afternoon. Those departing from Kilimanjaro will have an early dinner before being transferred to the airport.

3 Day Safari

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park, game drive, picnic lunch Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro National Park
Breakfast depart for Ngorongoro crater, a brief stop at Ngorongoro view point crater at the top. It is breathtaking. We then descend down the crater for game drive, lunch will be picnic .After noon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Sopa lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater National Park – Tarangire National Park
Early breakfast, then depart for Tarangire National Park followed by a short game drive in Tarangire. Afterwards, we drive to the lodge for a hot lunch. Then we drive to Arusha Outpost Lodge for dinner and overnight.

4 day Safari

Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro National Park and Serengeti National Park

Day 1: Arusha flight into Serengeti National Park

6 day safari - Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro National Park

Day 1: Arusha
Pick up from Kilimanjaro (JRO) airport or hotel and transfer to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at the Impala Hotel.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara national park for game drive, till lunch time, lunch will be at Lake Manyara hotel pm game drive dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast with picnic lunch drive to Serengeti national park for game drive dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti National ParkI - Ngorongoro National Park
After breakfast and morning game drive, depart for Ngorongoro crater with an stop at Olduvai Gorge and maasai village en route to Ngorongoro Sopa where you will have dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater National Park - Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the crater for game viewing and a crater tour with picnic lunch in the crater late afternoon transfer to Arusha dinner and overnight at Impala Hotel.

Day 6: Arusha - Airport
After breakfast town tour lunch will be served at Impala hotel late afternoon transfer to JRO to catch your flight.

14 day safari

Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater National Park, Serengeti National Park and Karatu

Day 1-2: Arusha
